The architecture of this accommodations is based on traditional African round huts. Fully insect proofed, they have been appointed with your comfort and pleasure in mind. International multi-plugs, personal safes, overhead fans and air conditioning are at your disposal, as well as free, unlimited W-iFi access. The al fresco showers bring you closer to nature and there’s no finer sensation than taking a steamy shower with the twinkling stars or a breathtaking Bushveld sunrise. There is adequate space for an extra bed in each room, for an additional member of the family Please note that the rate is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child (see Hotel Policies). From the moment we arrived, the staff's exceptional hospitality shone through, making us feel incredibly welcome and well-cared for. Dining under the vast African sky, with the magical ambiance of the forest surrounding us and animals occasionally wandering nearby, was an absolute highlight. It felt like a scene straight out of a dream! The safari game drives, both in the crisp morning and as the sun dipped below the horizon, were expertly guided. Our guide's knowledge and passion for the wildlife were evident, and we were thrilled to have spotted all of the "Big Five" in their natural habitat. What truly set Mohlabetsi apart was the thoughtful attention paid to our five-year-old daughter. The staff went above and beyond to engage her in fun and educational activities, making her feel like a special part of the Mohlabetsi family. This personal touch made our family vacation truly exceptional.

Absolutely brilliant! My booking was a last minute impulse decision, and the deal offered on Booking.com was amazing. Jo and her team run a great operation, and make everyone feel special. The guest accommodation is in the form of individual rondavels, and they are top quality. The outdoor shower was a highlight! The food = oh my goodness - this was great. Far too much to eat, but better too much than too little. I had to skip a couple of meals. The safari drives are exciting, and the guides are friendly and professional. And great to meet new friends from all over the world. All in all, simply the best. Highly recommended.

The lodge is located in the Greater Kruger park and is therefore ideally suited for those wishing to see big game. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and looked after our every need. The ranger, Sam, and tracker, Richard, were first class and were clearly very knowledgeable about wildlife. In our three days we saw all the big five and a great deal more. Overall the lodge is clearly a happy, well-run place where many of the staff have worked for over 20 years. Moreover, it is an affordable option compared to the more famous, very expensive 5* reserves in the region.

Beautiful grounds, attentive staff, delicious food and great safari rides. The game drivers are extremely knowledgeable, good fun, educational and passionate about what they do. They care for the animals but also want to give you the best experience possible. Lucky (our driver) was determined to ensure we had an amazing time. He is really funny, patient and loves the animals. Enoch (or Anok sorry I don't know to spell it) was also so pleasent and kind, he was a great tracker and spotter. Jo's hospitality along with the rest of the staff was second to none.

Three perfect days with amazing game drives in the morning and afternoon. Lucky and Richard were a perfect team and brought us very close to all the animals, amazing experience! The lodge itself is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the outdoor showers very nice :). Nice and clean pool. The meals were excellent, including dinners under starry night skies with lions roaring in the background. Very friendly staff. Really recommend this place!
